To be a non-competing hub that equips, empowers, and unites believers for kingdom impact across Galveston and beyond.
We do this by:
Hosting spaces for prayer, worship, healing, and study
Offering equipping pathways (Bible, leadership, family, holistic health, KSAs)
Helping people discover and develop their gifts and micro-ministries
Sending believers back into their churches and communities stronger
At Galveston Lighthouse Church, our vision is simple: To strengthen the Body of Christ by equipping people and ministries.
We are closed Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings because we are not here to replace the local church. Instead, we exist to be a training ground, a place of encounter, and a hub for unity.
Like Paul wrote: “I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth.” (1 Corinthians 3:6)
We see ourselves as sowers, waterers, and planters — helping people grow and then sending them forth.

Lighthouse exists to strengthen the Body of Christ by equipping people and ministries. We close Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings so that believers stay connected to their churches, while using Lighthouse as a training ground for growth and service.

Healing Room – mind, body & spirit restoration
Bible School & Seminary – growing in the Word
Leadership School – equipping leaders for church, business, family and community
KSA Development – knowledge, skills, and abilities training lead by Kingdom brothers & sisters.
Micro-Ministry Development – launching small, Spirit-led kingdom ministries with 3rd parties.
Family Courses – parenting, marriage, and family strategies and planning for 2025 & beyond.
Island Men’s Fellowship & Island Women’s Fellowship – strengthening lives through love, truth and intentional community
Prayer Rooms & Worship Spaces – places to encounter God (consecrated spaces)
F3 Groups – Faith & Fellowship + ______ (Fun, Fitness, Family, Forgiveness, Food, etc.)

We strive to connect with local brothers and sisters looking to "Go Forth" for Yeshua (Jesus) in a variety of ways, We hope to provide a place, space and support for ministries to launch and grow from, without worry of overhead, isolation, or a lack of a support team.
